The things Dad and I will miss……

We will miss you becoming Sergeant, Lieutenant, Captain, and seeing you retire from the NYPD that you loved.

We will miss you marrying, buying your first home, having children, 

We will miss you as a Husband, a Father, Uncle Erik to Karina, Matt and Steven’s children…….

We will miss so many journeys of Erik Joen Hammershaimb Christiansen life………….

We had the joy of you being a cousin to Dawn, Matt, and Steven……. 

We had the joy of you being a nephew, to Aunt Lucille, Uncle Mike, Aunt Mary, and Uncle Ron. ……and many of our closest friends who you called “Aunt and Uncle”….

We had the joy of you riding your first 2 wheeler, the first day of school, going to cub scouts, playing soccer and baseball……

We had the joy of you playing with all of your friends……

We had the joy of our home being the “Go to house” for your friends…..

We had the joy of watching you wrestle and being so good at it. Though it was hard for a mother to watch….

We had the joy of you going to the prom with our beautiful Diana…..

We had the joy of you graduating high school, going to College

We had the joy of you entering the Police Academy and doing so well…..

We had the joy of you as you became a Detective in just 5 years…………

We had the joy of you being a fine young man, with love, caring, and empathy in your heart…..

Most importantly we had the JOY of YOU………………..
