​Drug Crisis in Our Backyard has joined #GivingTuesday, a global day of giving to empower individuals and organizations to come together to support positive change within their communities.  DCIOB joined #GivingTuesday in an effort to raise funds to continue our comprehensive events and programming to aid, educate and support individuals and families struggling with Substance Use Disorder. 

#GivingTuesday is an annual event held on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving (November 28th). As we all gear up for the holiday season, this is an important and impactful way for individuals to support their local community organizations. 

Our important work would not be possible without the tireless efforts of our volunteers, our supporters and our community. As a non-profit, we survive and thrive from the generosity of our donors and those willing to lend help in our fight. It takes a village and without everyone coming together, Drug Crisis would not be able to continue its mission at this pivotal moment in the fight for our friends and loved ones.

While November 28th is the official day of the fundraiser, we're beginning our efforts this week leading up to #GivingTuesday.
